"Tree of Books" Celebrating Singapore *CCCB*

Hi all! Today brings a project for the City Crafter Challenge Blog. Our hostess, Kirsty, has brought us the coolest challenge from her home land of Singapore. The image for inspiration for this week is this:

Here's what you need to do for the challenge: create a card/project that include the image of a tree/trees or a book/books. You could also make a bookmark, a book cover, a notebook, coffee table brag book etc. This is not a color challenge, so it is NOT required to use the colors from the inspiration photo. You will find the challenge HERE. We are sponsored this week by the fabulous Stamping Boutique and were able to use one of their digi images for our project. I used the "lined school paper" image on mine. Thank you, thank you Stamping Boutique! I chose for my project to highlight my love of reading. It truly is something that has brought me such untold joy throughout my life. The first book I remember truly falling in love with was Little Women. I didn't even know it was a classic. I just remember sitting in the old Redondo Beach library as a little girl with this book in my lap and never wanting to leave. The same thing happened when I read The Secret Garden.
I did not grow up in a family where I was read to. It was something I just discovered on my own and I would (and still do) just devour books. My mom would tell me to get outside and play with the other kids, cause I just wanted to sit and read. Do you love to read, too? What is the first book you remember falling in love with...or what book are you currently reading. I finished Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay not too long ago and loved it. Happy reading to you all!! Hugs,
Cheryl
