CCCB Stamp It Out

Hi all!! Hope you all had an amazing Christmas! We are still celebrating here. I love this stamp and sentiment I used for our challenge this week at CCCB. I think we all could probably use a little rest right now. I know we are being pretty chill around here. Resting, relaxing, playing and enjoying each other's company. I hope you get a chance to play along this week at CCCB. Our theme is stamp it our and the challenge is to pull out your stamps and ink! Because you're going to need them this week! There are so many wonderful digi sites out there and so many beautiful images you can use on your creations... but not this week! We want you to Stamp it Out!!! You must use a stamp on your project this week. That's right, ink it up and stamp it out! We can't wait to see what you come up with. I hope you have a fantabulous New Year and you find time for a little rest and relaxation this week! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 12th day of Christmas...!!!!

...Cheryl gives to you...O Holy Night cards! I thought it was appropriate on this last day of sharing that I showcased cards that portrayed the reason for the season. I am so grateful for the knowledge of Jesus Christ in my life. I have felt His love for me over and over and over again. So today we celebrate the birth of this sweet babe, who came to earth to live and die so He could be our Savior. May you not only have a wonderful holiday, but remember that first it is a Holy day! The vintage images found on today's cards can be found HERE. Have a very Merry Christmas all and thank you for sharing these last 12 days with me! Big Hugs, Cheryl

On the 11th Day of Christmas Cards...*CCCB!!

Cheryl gives to you...courtesy of City Crafter Challenge Blog...Vintage Christmas cards! The lovely image from our sponsor, Cassi's Creations, totally inspired me to work with vintage images! You are DEFINITELY going to want to play along this week...the prize package is AMAZING and so are all the lovely creations from our DT and Guest Designer! We all had the same image to work with. My card for City Crafter is the first one posted today...don't you just LOVE that image?! Don't you just LOVE vintage?! There is something so warm and cozy and friendly about vintage images I think. Do you have a favorite card today? Tomorrow will be the last day of my 12 days of Christmas cards.
Just leave a comment for the chance for the drawing. Every day you leave a comment your name goes into the drawing again. For a second chance to win you can create a vintage card yourself and link it to the comments section! Have a warm and cozy and friendly day! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 10th day of Christmas Cards...

Cheryl gives to you Traditional Christmas cards! All red and green today folks! I have to say it is fun to sometimes go out of the box, but there is also something really comforting about tradition. So today's post celebrates a traditional Christmas.
I love traditions at holiday times...especially Christmas. It is just something we look forward to every year. Some things I change up a bit, but others are just the way they should be and provide comfort and bonding for the family. I think our favorite tradition is doing the 12 days of Christmas secretly for neighbors and friends. We will start on a certain night and secretly give one present and then night two we will give two of something, etc., until all 12 days are done. We've made some really great memories doing this. Do you have a favorite Christmas tradition? Do you have a favorite card today? The vintage images on some of today's cards and you will be seeing some for the next two days are found HERE and HERE. Both sites have free GORGEOUS downloadable images! To be eligible for the drawing just leave a comment. To be eligible for a second drawing just create a card using primarily red and green and link it to the comments section. Have a fabulous day whether it is traditional or untraditional! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 9th Day of Christmas Cards...

Cheryl gives to you...Merry Christmas cards!! I wish you a Merry Christmas, I wish you a Merry Christmas...I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Today's cards feature the word "Merry" on them. So as always, if you leave a comment on any of the 12 days your name goes into the hat for the prize drawing at the end. So if you comment all 12 days, your name goes in 12 times. You can go back and comment on any day you missed.
For a separate drawing you can participate by making a card going along with the theme of the day and linking it to the comments section. This will also be open all 12 days.
****AND TODAY ONLY...since I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year....
there will be another drawing for those that leave a comment today. It won't be quite as big a prize as the others, but still an easy chance to win! So have a Merry Christmas the whole season long all! I've decided to wait until Monday to post the next installment so be looking for the 10th day then.
Hugs,
Cheryl

On the 8th Day of Christmas Cards...

Cheryl gives to you...Home for the Holidays cards! To me there is something about Christmas that just says HOME. It is a feeling in your heart even when you can't be home. It will be a little different for us this year with two of our children not being with us. Ty is serving his mission in Spokane, Washington and Amanda is serving her mission in Paraguay. I hope that they have the feeling of home even though they won't physically be here. The BEST part of Christmas day for me will be our Christmas phone calls. We get weekly emails from our missionaries, but we only get to talk to them twice a year...Christmas and Mother's Day. I can't even tell you how excited I am to be able to hear their voices! What is your favorite memory of home at the holidays? Do you have a favorite card today? To have your name in the drawing at the end of the 12 days just leave a comment. If you would like to be in a separate drawing you can participate in the challenge and make a card that either has a home on it, the word home or symbolizes home to you. Hope you are making wonderful memories this year! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 7th Day of Christmas Cards....

Cheryl gives to you not seven, but five Ornamented Cards. Today's challenge is to use a Christmas ornament on your card. As I said in my earlier post about Christmas trees, one of my favorite things about the Christmas tree is putting on the ornaments and just the memories each has for me. We have some treasured ornaments on our tree...some that were given to us, some that we made, and some that we have just had since the beginning of our family. Do you have a favorite ornament on your tree?
Do you have a favorite card today? Have a fabulous day all! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 6th Day of Christmas Cards + CCCB Post!!

On the 6th Day of Christmas Cards Cheryl gives to you not six but five cards, with the first being my post from City Crafter Challenge Blog. The theme at City Crafter this week is to create a project using Kraft cardstock and my theme today is All Creatures Great and Small. There is no real reason for theme except I loved using all these animals on my cards. Do you have a favorite today? You definitely need to check out City Crafter Challenge Blog and all of the projects from our DT and Guest Designer. You are going to LOVE the fabulous creations and prize from our sponsor Di's Digi Downloads! The image I used on my City Crafter card (Hold My Hand) is from our sponsor. To have a chance at my drawing just leave a comment and your name goes into the hat. Every day you leave a comment is another chance at winning. There is a second way to win, too. You can play along with the theme of the day and link your creation in the comments section. Today you just would make a Christmas card with an animal on it. I can't wait to see what you come up with for both CCCB and my theme. Have a great day! Hugs, Cheryl

On the 4th Day +Happy Birthday Alisa!!!!

On the 4th day of Christmas cards Cheryl gives to you...not four, but five Frosty Fun Christmas Cards! I thought I would make the theme of this day Frosty fun because my sweet daughter Alisa was born on a very frosty day! Happy Birthday Alisa!!! We lived in Provo, UT at the time as my husband was finishing up at Brigham Young University. It was soooooo icy and snowy and cold that night. We lived on a 2cd floor apartment with metal stairs that were completely iced over. Let me tell you it was some kind of frosty "fun" trying to get down those stairs in the middle of labor! haha! I would have to stand on the stairs with my hubby holding on to me during contractions and then proceed ever so cautiously down the stairs between contractions. It was a super quick labor and the Dr. almost didn't make it in time because of the snowy and icy conditions, but he made it just in the nick of time. What are your "frosty fun" memories?! Do you have a favorite of these cards?! Remember just leave a comment to get your name in the drawing at the end of the 12 days. If you missed a day, you can go back and comment on that. This will stay open throughout the 12 days. For a separate drawing you can participate in the challenges and make a card following the theme of the day and link it to the comments section. Wishing you a fun day whether the weather is frosty or not!
Hugs,
Cheryl

On the Third Day of Christmas Cards

Cheryl gives to you... not three, but five of The Excitement of Christmas cards! Which one is your favorite? I just love the anticipation and excitement of Christmas morning...the gifts under the tree, stockings hung, Santa coming! So fun! What is it that makes you excited for Christmas? So that is our theme today and the challenge is to make a card with a gift or a stocking or a Santa image on it. To be a part of the 12 days of Christmas cards drawing...all that you have to do is leave a comment on this post...every day you leave a comment is another day your name goes into the drawing. If you would like to do the challenge, though, there will be ANOTHER drawing and prize for that. Every time you do the challenge just link your card to the comments section and your name will go into the drawing for that prize as well. You have until the last day of the 12 days of Christmas cards to either leave comments or links. I will do the drawing the day after the 12 days of Christmas cards ends.
So enjoy the excitement and anticipation of these remaining days until Christmas!
Hugs,
Cheryl
