My Favorite Thing About Today...Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Happy Thanksgiving ALL!! Today I'm thankful I get to share with you another one of my projects from the FABULOUS Pixie Dust Paperie Pink Rose Cottage kit. Seriously...working with this Pink Rose Cottage kit has been a FAVORITE activity of mine!! I mean would you just look at these papers and colors:

Holy Moly am I in LOVE! These stickers are pretty much the CUTEST EVER, too!

I'm pretty sure it will be a favorite activity of yours, too! For those of you in the US...I hope you have a wonderful holiday tomorrow with those you love. For ALL EVERYWHERE...I hope you are spending the day with the person who is your "favorite thing about today"! I know I have said it before, but it can't be expressed too many times how VERY BLESSED I am and how thankful I am FOR EVERYTHING in my life! My greatest source of comfort and happiness is my faith...which helps me realize that ALL things work together for my good...even the things that may not seem like such a blessing at the time. I leave you with this scripture that I hope will bring you as much peace as it does to me and that you will be filled with gratitude this day for all the things you are blessed with...even the things that don't seem like such a blessing. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28 HUGS, Cheryl

Sharing Some YUMMINESS!

Hi all! Happy Saturday! I just wanted to share a recipe with you that I made earlier this week that is SO EASY, you will probably have all the INGREDIENTS ON HAND, and is SCRUMPTIOUS!!! It is cinnamon roll cake and I think it could quite possibly be even more divine the day after you make it. You might want to try it out for brunch this weekend. I originally saw it on Pinterest and the recipe is found HERE on this blog. Here is the recipe:

Cake:
3 c. flour
1/4 tsp.salt
1 c. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. butter, melted

Topping:
1 c. butter, softened
1 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Mix everything together except for the butter. Slowly stir in the melted butter and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. For the topping, mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Drop evenly over the batter and swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 for 28-32 minutes.

Enjoy!! Wishing you all a scrumptious weekend!
