Hi all! If you visited here last week you know it was my daughter's sweet sixteen birthday. This particular daughter is not at all camera shy (truth be told none of my daughters are camera shy) and we did a little mini photo shoot for her birthday. I LOVE the way the photos turned out and had so much fun doing this layout of them. Hope you are doing what you enjoy most this day! Hugs, Cheryl
Hi all, it's Linda turn to be your hostess this week with a brand new challenge for you. She has chosen the theme of Stripes and Polka Dots. Hi all! We are going to the beach today with CCCB!! Kirsty is our hostess and the theme is BY THE SEA, and we want to see things that related to the sea in your project, e.g - sail boat, light house, beach, sand, sand castle, beach chair or umbrella etc. That won't be too tough right, so get your paper, scissors and glue going! Once again I can't wait to be inspired by what you come up with! Week after week I'm in awe as I view your creations! Now you will want to get yourself over to City Crafter Challenge Blog and view the creations by our FAB GD, Steph D., and all of the DT! I definitely want to thank our sponsor Shannon from Shannon's Sentiments for the prize she is donating and the wonderful images she let those of us on the DT use! Thank you Shannon! For my beach inspired creation I made a lo of my baby girl, Alena, who is Sweet Sixteen today! Happy Birthday Sweet Alena!!! She truly is a shining light in our home!! LOVE YOU!! I hope you are feeling the warmth of the sun or the warmth of the love in your home today! Big Hugs, Cheryl

“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he’s been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to just be people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey…delays…sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling burst of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.” ― Gordon B. Hinckley
