Hi all!! Our GCD Studios theme for June was based on ties. With a son named, Ty, this theme was a perfect fit for me. Here is my project:
The photo on the layout has always been a favorite of mine. It was taken when Ty was just eight years old. When I look at it I see so much. I see him as a boy wanting to be a missionary for our church, I see him today fulfilling that dream and serving as a missionary in Spokane, Washington and I see him in the future becoming a righteous husband and father. I see the ties that bind us together as a forever family. It was a very meaningful thing for me to create this layout. It all started here with this inspiration piece:
I love the subtle masculine look that these GCD Studio papers provided. Here are some close ups of the project:
I hope you enjoy this month with the ties that bind you to those you love. Hugs, Cheryl

Fabulous layout, love all the ties!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Cheryl! Love those tiny little ties all over, so cute!
ReplyDeleteScrapbook pages are so hard for me...but they would not be if they turned out like yours :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing layout! Not only is it beautiful, but so sentimental. I truly believe that these are the kinds of layouts that leave a legacy. I know our children and their children will enjoy the birthday and Christmas layouts, but it's the ones like these, that share feelings and emotion, that they will treasure. Beautiful job!
