It is back to school time at my house. My daughter starts school on Thursday this week and we will take my son to college on Friday. I'm so excited for my son, but I always have a hard time with the letting go thing. This is my fourth child to leave home now and it gets a little harder each time. I've made this card for him. There are so many things I want to tell him as he is going off on his own. I loved making this card for him. The cheeriness of the fun files at Cutting Cafe lifted my spirits a little. Could the wonderful files from the Cutting Cafe be any more fabulous? Cutting Cafe is the sponsor of 2 Sketches 4 You this week. I soooooooo loved working with their fabulous printer stamps. Such a great concept. Come play along with us at 2S4Y and perhaps you'll win some of these terrific files. You are going to love using Laura's sketch! I also want to give a shout out to the newest DT member at 2S4Y.....Sankari!!!!!!! I ADORE her work and am so happy she is a part of the DT!! So everyone please give her a big WELCOME!!!
I ADORE YOUUUUUU!!!!! Thank you so much for the welcome Cherlyn!!! You are SOOOO sweet and I almost got a wee bit teary eyed reading your post!!! My youngest daughter is heading off to preschool this year (only for the mornings) and I am totally weepy about it - I can't imagine letting my kids go when they are old enough to go to college!!! I am sending you big hugs!!! You are so sweet to make this card for your son! I adore your card - the stitching, the clouds, the little bluebird of happiness, the trees and everything in between!!! You totally rock!!!! Sending you big hugs and smiles!!!
