Mega Blog Hop REMINDER!!!!

Did you know that this month JustRite Stampers is celebrating their 2-year Anniversary with their first Blog Team Members?
They have quite the celebration planned in honor of that Anniversary! JustRite is hosting a huge event, a Blog Hop spanning 3 days and featuring artwork from 86 designers! Now that is just the beginning of the celebration -- it wouldn't be a party without prizes! And since it is their biggest hop ever, they are giving away shopping sprees which will total $1800!!
The 3-day blog hop starts TOMORROW and each day you are invited to hop between approximately 30 designers' blogs to see projects they have created using JustRite Stamps from the January & February release. During each day's hop they will have FIVE mystery blog candy locations. Remember *2Sketches4 You- Kazan #48*

Whew! Just got this one done in the nick of time!! I hope I always have time to play along with the wonderful sketches at 2S4Y. Lovin' Kazan's sketch, as always.
I've been doing a lot of remembering this past week so it seems appropriate that I do a remember card. I hope all your remember leads to happy memories or at least you can look back, remember and learn something from the maybe not so pleasant memory. Have a great weekend all!! It is truly a GORGEOUS day here!

A Sweet Card and a Sweeter Experience

Hi all! Just wanted to share a card and a sweet experience. The card is one I made for the GCD Studios DT call and reflects the feelings of my heart..."sweet". We took our son to the Missionary Training Center yesterday. Although, I thought my heart was going to break at leaving him for the next two years, still it is the sweetest of all experiences to see your children choosing a path you know will bring them the greatest of all joy. To be able to share the gospel of Jesus Christ, will bring him joy greater than he has ever known and I am so happy for him. The Lord showed us all such a tender mercy when we arrived. As we are pulling into the parking lot, crossing the parking lot is one of his very best buddies from home. There are THOUSANDS of missionaries here and for his friend to be crossing the parking lot at the EXACT time of our arrival was our own little miracle. Thought I would share a few pictures of this sweet experience.

2S4Y + Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger

Hi all! I decided to combine these two wonderful challenges again. As soon as I saw the Moxie Fab World Trigger I knew I wanted to play. I LOVE toile! I took this challenge quite literally because I had that fabric sitting in my closet. It makes me pretty nostalgic really. I had some lovely wicker furniture with cushions made out of that toile in the sunroom we had when we lived in Houston. It sure brings back a lot of great memories. Sooooooo, I really wanted to use that fabric. It is just so sunny and spring-y and fabulous to me. You just can't go wrong using one of the 2S4Y sketches. I flipped Laura's sketch for this one. Cherish Today **SOME REALLY, REALLY EXCITING NEWS!!!**

Hi all!! Ohhhhhhhh my I'm just so excited to share some fantabulous news with you all!! I received a phone call from Heidi Sonboul yesterday from GCD Studios. Their DT calls went out last Friday and I was one of the many, many folks that had applied that did NOT get a call. How surprised was I when yesterday Heidi called to say that they were starting something new...a GCD Studios Facebook Design Team and wanted to know if I would be a part of it!! Ummmmmmm....YEA!!! I am still in shock and oh so beyond excited!! Your friend and mine from 2S4Y, the ultra talented Laura Davis is also a part of the team and many other gals I'm thrilled to be working with and getting a chance to know better. I'm sharing with you one of the cards I made for the call. It seemed appropriate that I share this one..Cherish Today. I can tell you that I am! As my son is with us this last week before he leaves for two years to serve as a missionary you better believe I am cherishing each and EVERY day!

I really do have a LOT to smile about and I hope you all do, too. One thing I'm smiling about is the Moxie Fab World's Tuesday Trigger. The colors and images just put a smile on my face. They are just scrumptious! Laura and Kazan's sketches at
2S4Y are ALWAYS something to smile about! I just love creating cards from their fun sketches. So with both of these combined, I really really have something to smile about. My sweet blogging friend Karen Pedersen gave me a sweet blog award earlier this week. Thank you so much Karen! I'm supposed to pass it on, but I just can't choose who to give it to. Happy 19th Birthday Ty!!!!!

My baby boy is 19 today! Holy Moly where has the time gone! As soon as I saw the sentiment on the die cut I knew I wanted to use it for his birthday card. When boys from our church turn 19 they are eligible to serve as missionaries for our church if that is their hearts desire and they have lived their lives worthily. I am so proud to say my son has. He reports to the missionary training center in two weeks. Full speed ahead buddy boy, it all really begins now! He has prepared for this 19th birthday his whole life and now the adventure begins!! We all LOVE you so much Ty and are so proud of you!! I hope you all join in with me and wish Ty a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
