O Christmas Tree AND 12 Days of Christmas Give Away!!
Hi All!! It is day FOUR of our 12 Days of Christmas Give Away! Each day I will give away a small prize (6x6 paper pack, or embellishment pack...etc.)to someone who has left a comment. That is all you have to do...leave a comment and your name goes in the drawing for a little goodie! Each day I will feature on my blog something that is a part of my Christmas. Just want to spread some Christmas cheer! On the FOURTH DAY of CHRISTMAS I will show to you...our Christmas tree (did you notice the skirt...haha!). It is sooooooo much more than just any old tree to me...in so many ways it is a memory tree.
With EVERY ornament that is on the tree come a flood of memories. I add something new every year and it becomes part of the memory for the next. It is so very special. It celebrates the birth of our Savior, it contains handmade treasures from friends and family, it is whimsical and magical and it just plain makes me feel WONDERFUL and SMILE each time I look at. At the end of every evening before I go to bed I LOVE to turn off all the other lights, grab a cup of cocoa and bask in its glow. Hope you are feeling the glow of Christmas in your life today!! HUGS, Cheryl
And the winner for day THREE is...................Linda R.!!!! My email is firstname.lastname@example.org Send me your address for your prize!!
“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he’s been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to just be people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey…delays…sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling burst of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.” ― Gordon B. Hinckley
