Merry Christmas!!!Kazan #41 2S4Y + Yummy Holiday Treat

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!!! This will be my final post until the holiday so wishing you all that is wonderful. You really MUST play over at 2 Sketches 4 You this week...they are giving away a RAK to anyone who leaves a comment about our amazing sponsor Starving Artistamps. Just say what your favorite line of theirs is on the 2 Sketches 4 You blog for a chance to win. Starving Artistamps is also giving 2S4Y participants an amazing deal, so hop on over there quick. You are also going to want to try Kazan's fun sketch! My second tag...woohoo!! I can see these are going to be as addicting as cards! A little bonus for you today...a yummy recipe. My tag is wrapped around what I gave as neighbor gifts this year and it is super yummy...a chocolate chip cheesecake ball...oh yum!

Here is the recipe:
Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup confectioners' sugar
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
3/4 cup mix of mini chocolate chips and heath bar chips
Directions
1.In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners' sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. Stir in chocolate chips. Cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
2.Shape chilled cream cheese mixture into a ball. Wrap with plastic, and chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
3.Roll the cheese ball in mini chocolate chips and heath bar chips before serving.

I serve this with large pretzel sticks (the combination of salty and sweet is so yummy), graham crackers, choc. graham crackers and thin ginger cookies. The varieties are endless. You can roll it in nuts, or M&M's or oreo crumbs or wherever your imagination takes you and serve it with a variety of treats. I have found it is so yummy and very different than your normal cheese ball or dessert. It freezes well, too. I hope you enjoy!

  11. i am now trying VERY HARD to block the thoughts of a chocolate chip CHEESECAKE BALL (!!!!) out of my head...focus on the tag, focus on the tag...

i ♥love♥ the way you have combined and layered those pretty red & green patterned papers so that your tag has an almost "old world" victorian-ish xmas feeling; that little metal frame is divine, as well, and just embellishing with a few holly leaves and those gorgeous buttons...WOW...i'm seriously loving this, cheryl!

(...still thinking about the YOU-KNOW-WHAT though...sigh...
