Cheryl gives to you Traditional Christmas cards! All red and green today folks! I have to say it is fun to sometimes go out of the box, but there is also something really comforting about tradition. So today's post celebrates a traditional Christmas.
I love traditions at holiday times...especially Christmas. It is just something we look forward to every year. Some things I change up a bit, but others are just the way they should be and provide comfort and bonding for the family. I think our favorite tradition is doing the 12 days of Christmas secretly for neighbors and friends. We will start on a certain night and secretly give one present and then night two we will give two of something, etc., until all 12 days are done. We've made some really great memories doing this. Do you have a favorite Christmas tradition? Do you have a favorite card today? The vintage images on some of today's cards and you will be seeing some for the next two days are found
HERE and
HERE. Both sites have free GORGEOUS downloadable images! To be eligible for the drawing just leave a comment. To be eligible for a second drawing just create a card using primarily red and green and link it to the comments section. Have a fabulous day whether it is traditional or untraditional! Hugs, Cheryl
Your cards are beautiful, thanks for the links the images are gorgeous (I will definitely be using them for a couple of last minute Christmas cards), and your new blog header is super cute!! :)
ReplyDeleteCheryl I love reading about your 12 days of Christmas for your neighbor. That's the sweetest idea! Your cards are a mix of vintage and new with perfect embellishing! I love how you add the Christmas picks for some to give color. My fave thing about Christmas is having my family with me and being able to look around the room and see all those I love. :-) Amy
