I don't know about all of you, but I'm ready for some WARM weather! Maybe that is the reason when I saw Laura's sketch, all I could see was a surf board. I saw someone else make that same comment. I grew up in southern Calif. only seven blocks from the beach and I'm longing for that beach weather again. At least I can look at this card and think warm thoughts. haha!! Hopefully all of you are staying warm and getting a bit of sunshine today. At any rate, I can always keep some sunshine in my heart, right?! Some of you asked on my last post how I made the sweater flower. It is the easiest thing ever. You just cut off about 3/4 to one inch of the bottom of the sleeve and then make a basting stitch around one of the edges and pull your threads tight to gather. Make a few stitches in the back to hold it together. Then add a brad or a button or another flower or whatever to the center. You can make a TON of these flowers from one sweater. Just keep going up the sleeve and cutting off more one inch pieces. So easy!
