EASY! I was excited to use this photo of my oldest daughter and her family for my project. She had a collage of photos on her Christmas card and this is one of the photos. I just LOVE it! Just Sharing

Hi all! I have a little bit of exciting news to share...we got the paperwork from our church about our son coming home. He will be home on March 19th after being away for two years serving as a missionary!! That is four weeks from TODAY! Hooray!! I'll do a ten day countdown with a little give away like I did when my daughter came home last year when the time is closer. While I am in a sharing mood...here is a card I made this weekend...the weather is turning warmer here now (YEAH!!) and it puts me in the mood for some fun bright colors:

Say It's Not True!!!!

Ohhhhh my GOODNESS...tell me I must be dreaming...my little grandson is turning FIVE today!!! Like in...starting kindergarten in the fall FIVE!! I'm not quite sure who stole the time away, but I want to wish our sweet Tyler a SUPER FABULOUS BIRTHDAY!!!
He is WAY into Iron Man these days so I wanted to make him an Iron Man card. I found the Iron Man image on line and went from there. Please join with me in wishing my getting to be so big and grown up Tyler a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hugs ALL! Cheryl

Preference Dance

Hi all! Just sharing some fun photos from my daughter's Preference Dance date last Saturday. She was with a really GREAT group of kids and had such a good time. They went repelling and had a picnic lunch Saturday afternoon and then came home and got ready for this fun "photo shoot". After the photo shoot they went out to dinner and a couple in the restaurant PAID for ALL of their dinners. Isn't that just the SWEETEST thing?! My daughter was so tickled that someone would do that. It just makes me want to do such a thing myself. So NICE and FUN! Then they came back to our house and played games for a bit and then went to the dance. I made two collages of the pics because I just loved them all so much and didn't want to leave any out. Thanks for letting me share! *You can click on the photos to see them larger. Happy Valentine's Day ALL! It is not only Valentine's Day, but City Crafter Challenge Blog challenge time again! You know I LOVE to share our challenge each week. Kirsty is our hostess with this week's challenge .... The Perfect Pair!
We want you to make 2 cards that are identical but with different colors:

For this challenge, you will have to make 2 cards, one of each of the above colors as your main color, however, you are allow to pick up other colors from the inspiration photo, e.g. a bit of cream, or white, or green etc. Remember! The main color of your card has to be the above 2 colors! I kind of messed up on this challenge and my twins were more fraternal than identical... but I know you all will do better and make your twins identical! I had noticed on a couple of blogs I visit that cards were being made for a little boy named Sebastian. It was first posted on Amy Tsuruta's blog and then I noticed on several others. Sebastian's story touched me and I knew I wanted to be a part of this. A young boy named Sebastian is having an operation on February 15th. His teacher, Ginger, tells his story HERE and is appealing for anyone who will make a card and mail it please do, so when Sebastian comes out of surgery, he will have a room filled with cards. More Sweetness...Colors of the Rainbow *CCCB*

Hi All! I'm taking a little break from the Valentines and the chipboard today to bring you the latest City Crafter Challenge Blog Challenge! It is a SWEET one! The challenge this week is "Colours of the Rainbow"...Ros said that when she was at school ... they were given a little verse to remember the colours in a Rainbow ..."Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain"
... each Capital letter representing the colours...Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. I know when I went to school we were taught ROY G. BIV to remember them. Did you have a special way that you learned the colors?!
