I know these photos seem like nothing to most of you, but I live in an area where it snows maybe once a year and doesn't stick to the ground. We are the place that people come in the winter to get away from the snow. To our surprise this morning we woke up to our own little winter wonderland. We had NO idea that snow was even in the forecast, so it truly was a surprise. Sorry, I have not been to visit your blogs. I'll be back in action starting tomorrow. Hope you all had a wonderful New Years and continue to have THE BEST YEAR EVER!! Hugs, Cheryl
Yes, there is still amazement when you get up and find snow! Gorgeous pictures my friend. TFS! Hope your holidays have been filled with everything you wished for. Glas to see you back, hope you respite was refreshing!
You couldn't have picked a better challenge this week seeing all that snow! ... We are used to it but not seeing it around swimming pools ... that's a brilliant picture!!
OMG these pictures are gorgeous that's a real winter wonderland We have had our snow here in the netherlands but we also live in an area where there is hardly snow so I envy those who have such beautiful scenery's. I especiaaly like that picture around the swimmingpool love the contrast. Thank you for sharing and happy new year to you and yours.
Hi Cheryl :) Thanks so much for visiting my blog, I couldnt resist visiting yours :)
what fantastic pictures! Wow. Here in Scotland we have had a terrible time with snow over the last 2 months, drifts upto 3ft high, and it doesnt seem to want to thaw here. We had temperatures of minus 20+, pipes bursting and rivers freezing, but a beautiful white christmas and new year too.
Wishing you and your family much joy and all the best for 2011.
Oh my goodness!! Well, can't say I haven't seen snow this year but for you this is amazing! love the shots and it is lovely!! Hope you are having a wonderful New Year so far my dear friend!
“Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he’s been robbed. The fact is that most putts don’t drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up to just be people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise. Life is like an old time rail journey…delays…sidetracks, smoke, dust, cinders and jolts, interspersed only occasionally by beautiful vistas and thrilling burst of speed. The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride.” ― Gordon B. Hinckley
Beautiful pictures!
