I'm so excited to be a part of this fun blog hop at GCD Studios! It's Jewelry Month at GCD Studios and we are so excited to be sharing with you some fun jewelry that is now available from GCD Studios. That in and of itself is so exciting, but there's more..........you all get a chance to win some fun giveaways! There will be ten giveaways in all. Just leave a comment on each participant's blog for a chance to win. From here you will go to Mimi Leinbach's blog found
HERE. Leave Mimi a comment and you'll find the link to the next blog and keep going until you end up back here! It was soooooooo fun trying my hand at making jewelry and soooo easy to do with GCD Studios Products. Everything that was used on this necklace is a GCD Studios product. The BEST thing about making this necklace was my 15 year old, highly fashion conscience, daughter's reaction to it. She asked to wear it to school!!! High Praise indeed!! She did wear it to school and when she got home she told me that she had a ton of compliments on it and inquiries of where she got it! Wooohoo!!!
This is the GCD Studios product I started with:
I just added some lovely GCD Studios patterned paper to the chipboard circle and glued that into the medallion. I then added a fabulous GCD Studios brad and equally fabulous GCD Studios button and voile my necklace is complete! My daughter wore it with black as shown here:
I hope you have fun on this blog hop and I KNOW you will find a ton of FABULOUS INSPIRATION!! Hugs, Cheryl
I'm in with your daugther...... Indeed...it gorgeous.... I would wear it to work too... Fantastic Cheryl...I'm off to hop!!!...Thanks for sharing...xx
