On the 10th DAY of CHRISTMAS CARDS **GIVE AWAY**
On the 10th DAY OF CHRISTMAS CARDS I give to you comfort. May your heart find comfort in the season. I hope if there is anything troubling you that it may be resolved or at least you will be able to find peace and comfort at this time. I want you to know that you are all in my prayers. If you have a specific prayer request let me know. I find such strength and comfort in prayer. When I know others are praying for me it is such a wonderful and comforting feeling. I also find strength and comfort being with my family. Some of you have shared some of the traditions you do at Christmas time with your family. I LOVE to hear about them. If you feel so inclined I would love to hear some more of your traditions with your comments. We have reached another 50 comments, but it was after I went to bed last night so I don't have a winner ready to announce yet. I'm about ready to go get my son from college today. It is pretty much an all day trip there and back. He has finished his finals a day early so he is coming home today. His mission call should be in the mail when we get home!!! So exciting!! He will open it tonight to find out where he will be serving. If you haven't made a guess yet do it today!! I will announce our next winner tomorrow along with the winner of the guessing where Ty will go on his mission! Hugs to you all, Cheryl
Questions Answered- A couple questions you asked. Connie asked how I did the Joy on the snowman cards the day before yesterday. Connie it is just a chipboard piece from Creative Imaginations that came that way. Luzma asked a few days ago about lifting the cards. Please do everyone. That is what they are here for. If you want to lift them directly and do them exactly like I have you are more than welcome to or if you just want to use them as a springboard for your own designs or if you just like looking or just want to win a prize...it is all good.
**WINNERS CIRCLE**
Sheila
Desire
princess-peaches (Lisa)
~Amy~
today's winner-??????????
***GIVE AWAY INFO***
1. Anyone who leaves a comment on my blog during these 12 Days of Christmas cards will get their name in a hat for a cash or if you prefer a gift certicate prize of $25 plus some other random goodies. If you were to comment every day your name would go in the hat 12 times. I will announce the winner of December 14th.
2. I am feeling generous so there are more ways to win...Many of you know that my daughter is now serving as a missionary for our church in Paraguay. I did a drawing for those that made guesses as to where she would serve. My son now has that same desire and has put in his missionary papers. He will find out on December 11th where he will serve. It can be anywhere in the world that is open to proselyting...It could be here in the United States or across the sea. His sister is serving in Paraguay. Leave a guess as to where he is going anytime before December 11th and the person who is the closest wins. It will be the same prize as above ($25 cash or gift certicate + random goodies)
3. For every 50 comments accumulative during the 12 Days of Christmas Cards I will do a drawing for random goodies. This means that if I get 5 comments on Day One, 6 comments on Day Two...together that is 11. On the day it is a total of 50 comments from all previous days, all those names will go into a hat for the prize. If we reach 50 comments on Day 10 everyone who has left comments on day one-ten name will be eligible. If you left a comment everyday you would have your name 10 times in the hat. Every time I reach 50 comments another drawing will be held. So if I reached 50 comments on day 5 and another 50 comments on day 10...that would be two drawings. So tell your friends!

Love the lace and fun trims! Have a safe trip today!
ReplyDeleteBe safe picking up your son! I love the tradition of the children wrapping/giving gifts to one another-they are very thoughtful and get so excited when they open each others presents. Warms my heart when they give hugs and are friends together--makes up for all the times that they squabble! :)
ReplyDeleteI wanted to share a service story: here is the link to my blog:
