I'm Still Partying!! *Pixie Dust Paperie*
Hi all!! I'm still partying and this time with Party Cones that were provided in the March Floribunda kit from Pixie Dust Paperie! These party cones, made of white embossed paper, are so beautiful. I didn't add much to them because they were so beautiful on their own. Just some punched cardstock, crinkled ribbon, and baubles (all provided in the kit).
You really need to check out the Pixie Dust Paperie blog and see what the other DT members created with these. I am in such awe! Hope your day puts you in a party mood! Hugs, Cheryl

Celebrate Good Times!!! **CCCB**
Hi ALL!! I'm back as this week's hostess at City Crafter Challenge blog with the theme of CELEBRATE GOOD TIMES!! *and I hope you can say...they are ALL GOOD TIMES! It is funny how oft times even the things that seem like challenges turn out to be blessings in disguise. So I hope you come celebrate with us this week...your challenge is simple...to use a banner or the word "party" somewhere on your project. There is a party goin' on right HERE at City Crafter Challenge Blog and I can't wait to see what the celebration brings! Go check out the AMAZING work by our DT and GD, Olga. I'm celebrating, as you read in my Friday post, the return of my daughter in another 2 1/2 weeks from her mission in Paraguay. Actually I'm celebrating not only her imminent return, but her time there. I'm so thrilled she has had all the wonderful experiences she has had there.
She LOVES these people so VERY MUCH and I know they have grown to love her, too. What are you celebrating? I'm always so excited to see what you all create with each challenge. So get your party on and join the CELEBRATION!

Sprinkling On Some Pixie Dust!!**Altered Packaging**
OK....SERIOUSLY....You've GOT to LOOOOVE a kit where even the packaging is GORGEOUS!
Such was the case with the Floribunda kit! As soon as I unpacked it and saw the fabulous packaging that the chipboard alphabet letters came in, I knew I wanted to shoosh it up with a few of the other GORGEOUS items in the kit to make a little spa package for my daughter. My daughter has spent the last year and a half as a missionary for our church in Paraguay. There have been many times she has been without running water and so I thought she would appreciate a little bit of pampering and loveliness when she comes home. **Three weeks from today!!!!*** I'm soooooo EXCITED!!!***Inside I included a chocolate bar (how can you pampered without a little chocolate) that I wrapped in more Floribunda kit goodies, a relaxation mask, and some wonderful smelling bath treats:
Don't you think the colors in this kit just say luxury...pampering...lovely spa-like retreat?
I hope your day includes a little pampering! Hugs, Cheryl

Sharing GCD Studios!!!!
Woohooo! I finally get to share with you the projects I did for GCD
Studios that were displayed at CHA! Their new lines are sososoooo fun
and I just LOVED working with them! I mean really...how can you not
have fun with a line named FUN HOUSE! It just screams FUN! Here is the layout I did with this line:
I love that they have a vintage-y feel...but still have a fun, playful modern feel, too!:
Another line that I was able to work with for CHA was the Christmas line...that
can totally be used for ANYTHING...not just for Christmas:
It even comes with chipboard pieces that are in the paper pack! I just painted these and used the totally cool GCD Studios chipboard tool on them:
I also got to play with the Animal Crackers for Girls line:
Aren't the colors just the coolest?! I love the playful feel of the elements!
It comes with die cut lace paper, that I trimmed this fun elephant, butterfly, and flower from...so cute:
I can't wait to share even more layouts with all the fun new GCD lines with you! I've had such a blast this past year being part of the Facebook DT! Hugs, Cheryl

Sharing Some Pixie Dust + Happy St. Patty's Day!!
Hi all! I get to share another one of my creations from the Pixie Dust Paperie today! What a perfect way to start St. Patrick's Day...with a little Pixie Dust for luck!
The March, Floribunda kit was so elegant and beautiful and I am so thankful that I was able to create so many wonderful projects with it. I think this card would have been fine on its own, but I just needed to use another one of those FANTABULOUS chipboard alphabet letters on it! The are just so pretty! So I decided to make a monogrammed card:
I just love all the elegant little touches this kit provided:
If you haven't checked out the Pixie Dust Paperie Blog get over there right now! You are going to be soooooooo AMAZED at what the DT has created!
Now, I couldn't just have a post on St. Patrick's Day without a little green and some happy St. Patty Day wishes, so here you go:

He Rules Our Roost *CCCB The King and I Challenge***GCD Studios Contest**
Hi all! Yep...it is City Crafter day...Yeah!! Always so fun to share a new challenge!
This week's challenge is brought to us by our City Crafter founder and all time talented Miss Kirsty! She always bases her challenges around a city...this week Monte Carlo. Miss Kirsty says that she personally thinks that Glamorous Monte Carlo is a place fit for a King, or Queen, or Prince and Princess, so there you go, our challenge this week is "The King and I", we want to see crown(s) in your project, it could be embellishment, charm or paper, so get going. When I think of who wears the crown in our family it is absolutely our son, Ty. People have expressed sympathy to him because he is the only boy with four sisters. No sympathy required...this boy rules our roost. He had all those sisters wrapped around his little finger from the moment he was born and charmed his little sister from the day she was born. He is our little prince and we adore him. With all this he gets a little cocky at times, so I thought the barn yard scene appropriate...that and the fact that all those sisters are mother hens...haha! I hope you play along this week. Go check out the royally fantabulous projects at City Crafter Challenge Blog by our Guest Designer, Carol Quance, and all the DT members! I am the sponsor this week and I hope you enjoy the prize package I put together for our winner. I can't wait to see the crown jewel of projects this week!
Now go put on a tiara and give yourself the royal treatment today! Hugs, Cheryl
**This just in- Go to the GCD Studios Blog for a FAB CONTEST!

Happy Pie Day or I Should Say Pi Day!!!
Happy Pi Day all! What is Pi day you ask? Well, it is a holiday that if not made up by was at least celebrated by my second daughter's pre-cal teacher many years ago when we lived in Houston. Genius! First of all genius to even be taking a pre-cal class...total genius to be a pre-cal teacher and totally genius to come up with or at least celebrate math...I mean what better way to get kids fired up about math than to ply them with pie! Why today? Think about the date for a second. Now, my younger children all waited with anticipation for their math teachers to celebrate as well. Awaited to no avail, I might add. Now my youngest daughter is a number loving as well as a pie loving person and insisted that we take matter into our own hands this year....sooooo at 3:14 this afternoon (no, I was not dedicated enough to get up at 3:14 am) we will be sitting down and enjoying a yummy piece of pie and celebrating pi!
**Soooooo...if the diameter of our pie is 9"...what is the circumference? The area? I have no idea...I'll have to go wake up my daughter and find out! haha! If you care to figure it out remember circumference=diameter times pi and area=pi times the radius(1/2 the diameter) squared.
In the event you would like to celebrate this holiday too...(I mean any excuse to eat pie, right?) here is the recipe again for my apple pie:
Have a sweet day!!
Hugs, Cheryl

My Heart Goes Out to the People in Japan
I just wanted to say that my heart and prayers go out to the people of Japan. It is beyond comprehension what they must be going through. As a mother of two missionaries, who are away from home, naturally my heart goes out to those who have family members or friends who are in Japan right now. I pray that your loved ones are all safe. My heart ached for those families of missionaries serving there. I kept waiting to hear if they were safe. Early reports said that all missionaries outside of Sendai were safe, but all communications were down in Sendai and all road closed to try to get there. Then late last night the report came in that 64 of the 72 missionaries in that region had been heard from and were safe. My heart once again ached for the families of those 8 missionaries who still had not been heard from. This morning I awoke and am so happy to learn that the "Church leaders confirmed this morning that all missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in Japan are safe and accounted for." I KNOW that ALL of these missionaries will be a huge blessing to this area and will work with ALL their might to help the people in this area. I hope that all your loved ones are safe and well today and my heart and prayers go out to you that are not blessed with that at this time. Big HUGS, Cheryl
